Students majoring in Pedagogy of Fine Arts and Graphic Design joined an initiative to celebrate the triple anniversary of St. Paisii Hilendarski - 300 years since his birth, 60 years since his canonization as a saint and 260 years since writing "Slavo-Bulgarian History". The initiative is carried out with the blessing and support of the Zografski Monastery "St. vmchk Georgi ”Sveta Gora, Aton.
At the official invitation of the initiative committee "Friends of Zografski Monastery" and the Regional Library "Zachary Knyazheski" students majoring in Pedagogy of Fine Arts and Graphic Design participated in the creation of 12 digital versions of the transcripts of the iconic book. Archival photos, engravings, etc. were provided to the students for the preparation of the digital transcripts from the library of the Zografski Monastery. After a review by the monastery, some of the transcripts will be included in a compilation.
On June 16, 2022 (Thursday) in the hall of the Regional Library "Zachary Knyazheski" in Stara Zagora at an official ceremony were presented the collected parts of the transcripts of "Slavo-Bulgarian History" by children and adults in Stara Zagora, Kardzhali, Haskovo, Smolyan and Plovdiv. The total number of transcripts is 1424. The participants in the initiative were awarded special prizes and plaques by Hieromonk Gabriel, epitrope of the Zografski Monastery in Mount Athos.
