Foreign citizens who wish to study in Bulgarian may apply for All Majors,offered at Trakia University. For this purpose, applicants undergo a 10-month course of study (two semesters of five months each), during which they study Bulgarian at the Centre for Language and Specialized Training of Foreign Nationals at Trakia University. From the end of the first semester, the studies also include specialised subjects in Bulgarian - chemistry and biology. At the end of each semester there is an exam in Bulgarian language (written and oral), and at the end of the second semester there are exams in the specialized subjects.

After passing the preparatory year, prospective students receive a Certificate of Language Preparation.

The course fee is 3500 EUR, and for foreigners with dual citizenship, one of which is Bulgarian, 1750 EUR. The tuition fee is payable in two equal instalments at the beginning of each semester at the cash desk of the Rector's Office or by bank transfer to the following account:

After completing the language course, foreign citizens apply and enrol in their desired major.
