TRAKIA UNIVERSITY GRADUATES 126 AGRICULTURAL SPECIALISTS The Faculty of Agriculture of Thrace University sent today its graduates from the class of 2023. The oldest faculty of the Staro Zagorsk Higher School this year graduated a total of 126 bachelors and masters with an average success of the class of m. good 5.01, with 41 of them graduating with distinction. Special guests at the official ceremony for the sending off of the 2023 graduating class were Prof. Deyan Stratev - Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food, Mrs. Nadezhda Chakarova - Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Stara Zagora, representatives of the rector's and dean's management of Thrace University, as well as of state institutions and business organizations. "Dear graduates, in your face today I see smart, knowledgeable and very capable people, ready to face new challenges in intensive and efficient animal husbandry, plant breeding, waste management, digital connectivity, ensuring food security in the face of climate change and last but not least - environmental protection," Prof. Neli Grozeva, vice-rector of Thrace University, said in her greeting to the graduates and added: "Never forget what the Bulgarian people said: who works for the bread of mankind , he is most blessed, because no one is greater than bread! There are no other specialists who stand so close to the bread! Happy graduation!” In the class of 2023, a total of 80 bachelors graduated in 5 specialties - Animal Engineering, Agronomy, Ecology and Environmental Protection, Fisheries and Aquaculture and Agricultural Engineering. Among them, Nikolay Bachvarov graduated with the highest success from the "Environmental Protection Ecology" specialty, who graduated with an excellent 5.84 and received his diploma personally from the vice-rector - Prof. Neli Grozeva. This year, Lora Ivanova graduated with full honors as the top of the 46 graduating masters from the "Biological Agriculture" specialty. Laura was awarded a medal and a special gift from the management of Thrace University, presented by Prof. Grozeva. The graduation ceremony of the class of 2023 ended with the solemn taking of the agrarian specialist's oath by all the graduates and the traditional throwing of academic caps in the sky, symbolizing the flight of dreams and the high goals that the new agrarian specialists will pursue in their professional path.
