THE FACULTY OF MEDICINE AT THRACIAN UNIVERSITY HAS SENT THE BACHELORS OF 2023 GRADUATION

At an official ceremony today, the graduates of 5 undergraduate majors of the Faculty of Medicine at Thrace University received their diplomas and started their professional path. A total of 91 bachelors from the specialties "Midwifery", "Kinesitherapy", "Medical assistant", "Nurse" and "Social activities" graduated in the 2023 class. Thus, the total number of graduated medical specialists - bachelors and masters - in the Faculty of Medicine of the Stara Zagora University this year reached 232 people. Special guests at the solemn ceremony were the rector of Thrace University - Prof. Dobri Yarkov, Mrs. Pavlina Delcheva - Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Stara Zagora, representatives of the rector's and dean's management, state institutions, health and social institutions, business partners

"I am calm for you, because I know that you are well prepared - because your teachers are one of the best in the country." - stated Prof. Yarkov in his address to the graduates and added: "My appeal to you is to stay in Bulgaria, to work in Bulgaria, because Bulgaria needs you. Fair winds and keep dreaming!”

For the first time this year, the Faculty of Medicine graduated students majoring in Kinesitherapy. With an average success in the specialty mn. good 5.14 a total of 12 graduates take their professional path. The first among them - Nikoleta Yaneva - received her diploma from the rector, Prof. Yarkov.

The most numerous in the class of 2023 are the graduates from the "Nursing" specialty - 33 of them, who graduated with a good GPA of 4.20. Among them, Marusia Liddle was honored, who was awarded by Prof. Yarkov. The next in number are the graduates of the specialty "Medical Assistant" - a total of 19 people, followed by "Social Activities" - 15 and "Midwife" with 12 graduates.

"The paths to people's souls and hearts are not easy. But with the professions you have chosen, you are called to sometimes do the unthinkable, sometimes the incomprehensible, and even the impossible, in order to help and breathe life. Never forget it!" said Prof. Yulian Ananiev, dean of the Faculty of Medicine, in his address to the graduates.

"Sometimes happiness lies within one hand or is just one step away. Be good people, have a good time!” At the end of the ceremony, the graduates from the specialties "Midwifery", "Nurse" and "Kinesitherapy" solemnly took the oath of Florence Nightingale, and the graduates from the specialty "Social Activities" - respectively, the professional oath of the social worker. And dozens of academic caps flew into the sky with trepidation, excitement and wishes for many professional successes.
