The Faculty of Engineering and Technology - Yambol opened the Academic Year 2022/23

The rector's leadership of Trakia University attended the Official Opening of the Academic Year at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology - Yambol.

The special guest of the celebration was the deputy mayor of Yambol Municipality, Mr. Encho Keryazov. 

The Rector of Trakia University, Assoc. Dr. Dobri Yarkov, and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technologies, Assoc. Dr. Vanya Stoikova congratulated the freshmen and wished them a successful academic year.

The university tradition of handing over the "Key of Knowledge" from its current holder Dilyana Georgieva to freshman Pena Karapeeva during the Opening Ceremony of the Academic Academic Year was also acknowledged. The good mood of the attendees was ensured by young talents from the city of Yambol: pop and rock singers Stiliyana Ilieva and Maria Ivanova from the Municipal Children's Complex with the manager Mrs. Paulina Pavlova.

Attendees also had the opportunity to enjoy a rumba dance performed by Elena Kalcheva from the "Tandem" Sports and Latin Dance Club headed by Georgi Naydenov - chairman of the Bulgarian Sports Dance Federation and a student in the "Design, Technology and Management of the Fashion Industry" specialty ” in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology - Yambol. More than 200 students in Bachelor’s programs, studying in 8 specialties - full-time and part-time, will cross the threshold of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology for the first time this year. 

The submission of documents for master's programs continues until the end of September. Those interested can register online or on site every working day from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Thrace University building in Studentski Grad, Stara Zagora (West entrance), as well as in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology - Yambol (Graf Ignatiev Street No. 38).
