Economic training is aimed at building fundamental economic knowledge, which is built on knowledge in the field of regional economy and regional development. Management training forms in the specialists-economists theoretical knowledge and skills for managing processes, structures and organizations from the public and private sector at regional and national level. The main goal of the training in the specialty "Regional Economics and Management" is to prepare specialists-economists with fundamental and specialized knowledge, as well as practical skills in the field of: macroeconomics and microeconomics; regional economy and politics; regional governance; marketing; planning and forecasting, finance and accounting; analytical models for managing the economic growth of the regions, etc. The bachelor's degree provides professional skills and competencies of the specialist economist to: analyze and formulate the strategic goals of regional economic and spatial development; participates in the development and implementation of municipal plans, district strategies and regional development plans; develops and manages projects for regional economic development; evaluates and proposes solutions for effective management of funds from EU financial instruments for regional development.
