Description
The Master of Ecotourism is a highly qualified specialist with in-depth theoretical training on natural, environmental and regulatory requirements for ecotourism, the place of ecotourism in the tourism industry and its role in environmental protection. During the training students gain knowledge about the types of tourism and tourist resources in Bulgaria, the ecological condition of tourist regions and ecoregions in the country, opportunities, conditions and regulations for the development of ecotourism in Bulgaria, the most important sites of ecotourism.
Realization
Master's students in "Ecotourism" acquire skills for activities related to: environmental assessment and control of the ecological condition of the regions, object of tourism; organization and management of tourist groups and trips to places and protected areas, object of ecotourism; conducting and controlling environmental activities in natural complexes, object of ecotourism; ecological training of staff working in tourist organizations, as well as ecological education of tourists for environmental protection; creation and management of own tourist bases.
