Description
Specialists who have obtained a Master's degree in Zooengineering under the program "Consulting, development and management of projects in animal husbandry" are highly qualified in terms of policies and programs of the European Union and the Republic of Bulgaria in the field of agriculture and rural development areas. They have the knowledge and skills to carry out effective consultancy in the field of animal husbandry, according to Regulation № 1306 of 2013, on activities related to climate change mitigation, conservation of biodiversity, soil and water, the rules for cross-compliance, as well as for maintaining the land in good agricultural and environmental condition. They have consulting practices in farm management, development and management of projects in the field of animal husbandry. Specialists trained and successfully completed the master's program have in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical skills on the application of new, modern technological solutions in the construction of buildings and facilities for livestock, modern approaches to breeding, feeding and breeding livestock, economic and environmental analysis, as well as on risk assessment and management in agricultural holdings.
Realization
Masters in "Consulting, development and management of projects in animal husbandry", graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture at the Thracian University, have the competencies to hold managerial, organizational, coordinating and other positions in the Ministry of Agriculture, National Agricultural Advisory Service, consulting companies, administrative services , associations, federations, to develop and manage projects in the livestock sector, to manage livestock farms and other activities related to animal husbandry.

The competition fee is waived for:
a/ persons with permanent disabilities and reduced working capacity of 70 per cent or more - certified by a decision of the TELK;
b/ round orphans up to the age of 25 years in the year of application - evidenced by the death certificates of the parents and the identity card of the prospective student.
c/ persons who, at the time of reaching the age of majority, are subject to a protection measure under the Child Protection Act - placement in a foster family, a residential social service or a specialized institution - certified by an official note from the respective home;
d/ war invalids and war victims;
e/ mothers (fathers) with three or more children - children's birth certificates and parent's ID card must be presented.
Twins pay half the fee when they both apply to TRU - birth certificates must be presented.
