The objectives of the training are also aimed at improving the coordination between the institutions regarding the work and implementation of the activities set in the \"National Action Plan for Combating Illicit Use of Poisons in the Wild 2021-2030.\" A total of 13 cadets from the Ministry of Interior took part , RIEW, RDG and BFSA (from the cities of Varna, Shumen, Ruse, Haskovo, Kardzhali). The trainers were lecturers from the Thracian University, Stara Zagora, experts from BSPB and Green Balkans and the General Directorate of the National Police - Sofia. The trainees took a three-day theoretical course, followed by practical classes at the Wildlife Rescue Center of the Green Balkans - Stara Zagora and a demonstration of working with a dog trained to detect poisons.
