Students from the Ecology and Environmental Protection program at the Faculty of Agriculture of Trakia University – Stara Zagora became closely acquainted with the European educational and innovation platform HyAcademy.EU and its rapidly expanding network. The initiative aims to develop knowledge and skills in the fields of hydrogen technologies, sustainable energy development, and the green transition.

During the visit, the students received information about the opportunities that HyAcademy.EU offers for membership, access to educational resources, virtual courses, scientific materials, and participation in international initiatives. The students showed strong interest, with many of them expressing readiness to join the network as individual members in order to further develop their knowledge in the field of hydrogen energy.

A highlight of the program was also getting acquainted with the innovative university infrastructure related to research in hydrogen technologies. The students visited:

🔹 Hydrogen technologies laboratory, where they observed real equipment and methods for working with hydrogen;
🔹 Demonstration models of vehicles powered by hydrogen;
🔹 Operational systems and installations used in training and scientific experiments.

Special attention was given to the topic of hydrogen safety — mandatory protocols, protective measures, and best practices for working with this energy carrier were presented.
