A leading researcher from Trakia University will deliver a lecture at Goce Delčev University, Štip, North Macedonia

About The Event

On 3rd of October, Goce Delčev University in Štip is set to host a lecture given by Prof. DSc Dariya Vladikovaa leading researcher from the Institute for Sustainable Transition and Development at Trakia University. The presentation, titled "The 21st century - the century of the hydrogen economy", focuses on the critical role of hydrogen technologies in sustainable development and the necessary expansion of technical expertise.

Hydrogen technologies are identified as a The European Green Deal and are fundamental to "economy of the 21st century."." Projections indicate a substantial skills gap in the sector, with the European Union requiring an estimated 180,000 qualified personnel by 2030 to meet demand.

This session is being held in connection with the European Hydrogen Academy an initiative launched to establish educational networks and develop essential learning materials to address the deficit.

Prof. Vladikova's lecture will provide a general introduction to the field, covering the application and scope of hydrogen technologies, their role in carbon reduction,and the rationale reducing carbon emissions for their integration into education from primary levels onward.
