Maintenance of application software servers - specialized information system for the needs of veterinary clinics, specialized software for training and testing in veterinary surgery, document management software (clerical), integrated university information system covering all activities related to teaching and research work at TRU.
Maintaining a web-server with the university's internet portal - up-to-date information about the university and all units, periodic information about current events, conferences and announcements, maintaining student admissions and publishing comprehensive information during admissions, etc.;
Maintaining the electronic register of students and lecturers, coordinating with the Ministry of Education and preparing the information for the national register;
Maintaining the electronic register of documents issued by TRU, coordinating with the Ministry of Education and preparing the information for the national register of higher education diplomas;

ТрУ е част от проекта i-zone, целта на който е да стимулира използването на безжични технологии от студенти и преподаватели във висшите учебни заведения. В момента са инсталирани такива устройства на 6 места на територията на университета – зоната на форума пред централния портал, вътрешния двор, зоната пред ветеринарните клиники, където има осигурени денонощни лекарски дежурства, големите зали 1, 2 и 3 и фоайето пред тях. Тъй като обхващането не територията на целия университет е свързано със значителни финансови ресурси, добавянето на нови зони ще става постепенно във времето.
