Description
Graduates of Bachelor of Economics majoring in Business Economics acquire in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the following main areas: general and company management; the organization and technology of production processes in the enterprise; marketing and trade in the various sectors of the national economy; business accounting, business financing and lending; business planning and forecasting; entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial strategies; commodity science and product competitiveness; the implementation of investment projects for modernization and business development; economic and marketing analyzes and evaluations; the justification of projects for starting a small and medium business; acquire knowledge about the specifics and peculiarities of the individual branches, sub-branches of the economy
Realization
Graduates can be realized as: managers, business experts and analysts in private and public business organizations; consultants in the field of business planning and forecasting, risk management, development of investment projects for business development; entrepreneurs running and developing their own business in various sectors of the national economy; specialists and experts in economics in the field of state and municipal administration and non-governmental organizations; business analysts of processes and activities in various organizational forms of economic activity; credit inspectors in banking and other financial institutions; teachers in secondary vocational high schools and colleges in the country.

Exam and application fees
Application fees for the academic year 2024/2025.:
За първи изпит/тест таксата за кандидатстване е 60 лв. За всеки следващ изпит/тест е 55 лв.
The competition fee is waived for:
a/ persons with permanent disabilities and reduced working capacity of 70 per cent or more - certified by a decision of the TELK;
b/ round orphans up to the age of 25 years in the year of application - evidenced by the death certificates of the parents and the identity card of the prospective student.
c/ persons who, at the time of reaching the age of majority, are subject to a protection measure under the Child Protection Act - placement in a foster family, a residential social service or a specialized institution - certified by an official note from the respective home;
d/ war invalids and war victims;
e/ mothers (fathers) with three or more children - children's birth certificates and parent's ID card must be presented.
Twins pay half the fee when they both apply to TRU - birth certificates must be presented.
