The purpose of the proposed master's program is training in artificial insemination, management of sexual cycle function in females, embryo transfer, laparoscopy, in vitro fertilization, cloning, ultrasound and acquaintance of masters with modern equipment and medicines, as well as how to use them. The program is of scientific and applied nature, offering a system of knowledge and skills for planning, management and implementation of tasks for breeding and reproduction in livestock farms. The reproductive technologies included in the program are closely related to the programs in cattle breeding, pig breeding, sheep and goat breeding, poultry breeding and rabbit breeding. The thematic methodological units cover in a logical sequence the reproductive biotechnologies applicable to the various farm animals, with an emphasis on practical activities on the farm. The master's program provides an opportunity for each of the students to participate in the processes of conducting biotechnological activities. Reproductive biotechnology in animal husbandry significantly increases the level of genetic progress and also plays an important role in the conservation of genetic resources, in particular the conservation of semen and embryos of aboriginal breeds and exotic agricultural species.
