Description
The master engineer-technologist acquires highly specialized practical and theoretical knowledge in the field of research and implementation; the microbiological, chemical, technological, and legislative aspects of food quality and safety control; food analysis; control and management of technological processes in the production of quality and healthy food; company management; team management. The master engineer-technologist acquires skills to plan, organize, manage, improve and control the production-technological processes responsible for food safety; to analyze and assess microbiological, chemical and physical hazards in food production; to develop, implement and maintain food quality and safety management systems in various enterprises and structures of the food chain, etc.
Realization
Master of Engineering technologists with a degree in Food Safety and Quality are given the opportunity to be realized as: heads of laboratories, research centers and institutes related to the functioning of GMP (GMP), risk analysis systems (HACCP), integrated systems for safety and quality (ISO 22000); team leaders for the development of new food products, researchers, researchers, PhD students; experts, consultants and advisors in the production of safe and quality food; experts in quality control and food safety at the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency; experts in individual companies and teams for development of HACCP systems, in ministries, departments, non-governmental organizations (Consumer Protection Commission) and branch organizations; food safety and quality managers in food production and storage companies.
