The program "Animal Nutrition and Combined Feed Technology" combines the highlights of the existing two master's programs - "Animal Nutrition" and "Combined Feed and Nutrition". The purpose of this association is to provide for the practice highly trained specialists, able to solve the problems that have arisen in modern animal husbandry, related to animal nutrition and feed production. In this regard, the program includes the latest developments in the science of animal nutrition and optimization of the component composition of rations and recipes. The training of students uses computer programs that speed up the process of compiling rations and recipes and improve the accuracy of balancing. The new master's program includes questions for determining the needs of animals for energy and nutrients for individual body functions, modern concepts of nutrition of different species and categories of animals, new developments in the production and quality of compound feed, modern methods of feed analysis , sampling and shaping, maximum permissible concentrations of anti-nutrients and toxic substances, etc. During the training the masters get acquainted with the HACCP systems and the Good production practices in the enterprises for production of compound feeds and in animal nutrition. Thus, the program deepens students' knowledge of the nutrition of different species and categories of animals acquired in the educational qualification degree "Bachelor".
