Research

The research focus at the department of Genetics is given to the hereditary resistance / susceptibility of animals to infectious diseases, search for genetic markers for early diagnosis of hereditary diseases. Application of recombinant DNA technologies as a mechanism for creating organisms resistant to extreme conditions. Microsatellite markers for biodiversity assessment. Genetic polymorphism of pro- and eukaryotic organisms, Hereditary immunity in animals, etc.
