Trakia University - Stara Zagora and the Bulgarian Veterinary Union embraced common causes in the name of the veterinary profession The leadership of the Bulgarian Veterinary Union visited Thrace University - Stara Zagora, at the invitation of the rector Prof. Dobri Yarkov.

The working visit was attended by the chairman of the union Dr. Dimitar Tsankov, the vice-chairmen Dr. Miroslav Parvanov and Dr. Dimitar Janovski.

The management of BVS and the management of Thrace University in the person of Prof. Yarkov, Prof. Rumen Binev - Vice Rector and Dr. Zdravko Todorov - Chief Manager of the University set common goals related to the veterinary medical profession.

One of their main causes is the place of the profession to be shifted by the national classifier from the field of Agriculture to the narrow field of Veterinary Medicine.

Other tasks that the university and the estate set themselves were: interaction in the legislative field, unification of the veterinary profession and the introduction of mid-level specialists into the profession as veterinary assistants.

Thrace University - Stara Zagora and the Bulgarian Veterinary Union will formalize their relations with the conclusion of a cooperation agreement.
