At a solemn ceremony today, the oldest faculty of Thrace University sent off its graduates. Graduation 2022 of the Faculty of Agriculture graduated with an overall average grade of very good 5.36. A total of 90 bachelor's and master's degrees are graduated in the specialties of Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Zoo Engineering, Ecology and Environmental Protection, Fisheries and Aquaculture. The graduates of this year's graduating class are 63, with the master's degree in Animal Engineering - Veselin Penev, Zhivko Dimitrov and Elin Stepanchev, as well as the master's degree in Ecology and Environmental Protection - Galina Stancheva graduating with full honors.

"Dear graduates, regardless of where life will take you, never forget the Faculty of Agriculture, Thrace University and Bulgaria! Work for you, your families and your country! Seeing your beaming faces today, I am convinced that you will have a successful realization! You and I must end this endless transition that Bulgaria has been in for decades. You have the difficult task of working to build a modern country with modern agriculture - I believe that you are the specialists who will contribute to achieving this goal! We count on you! Have a good time and fair winds!” - said Prof. Dimitar Panayotov, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, in his address to the graduates.

Oath of the Agricultural Specialist was pronounced on behalf of the graduates by the excellent Todor Georgiev, Bachelor of Animal Engineering. The diploma of honors student Albena Ivanova, Bachelor in Agronomy, was presented by the vice-rector for academic activities, Prof. Neli Grozeva.

Official guests at the ceremony, in addition to the rector's management of Thrace University, were Mr. Stoyan Stoyanov - Deputy Regional Governor of Stara Zagora, Denitsa Dincheva - Director of the Animal Husbandry Directorate at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, zoo engineer Georgi Yordanov - executive director of the Executive Agency for Selection and Reproduction in Animal Husbandry, Prof. Rumen Tomov - Dean of the Faculty of Agronomy at the Forestry University - Sofia, heads of faculties and departments at the university, former rectors and teachers. Congratulatory addresses were sent by the mayor of Stara Zagora Municipality - Mr. Zhivko Todorov, as well as long-standing partners and representatives of various institutions.
